Description:

Former sex-worker Rags Madison moderates this CSPC internal discussion to explore the various definitions we use in our Sex Positive community. Come give us your opinions and join in the discussion. These discussions allow us to explore our own thoughts as well as learn what that cute guy or girl we've been curious about has to say as well. Some volunteer participants are also encouraged but NOT required to be available for more public seminars outside the confines of the Center for Sex Positive Culture in order to present our message to others interested in our lifestyles and values. Are you a sexual intellectual?

After the conversations, which are free of charge, we encourage you to attend that night's party!

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009 7:00pm - 8:15pm The Anne Rice Book Club - The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty (1983)

We will start our our foray into the world of Literary Erotica with the sexually charged Sleeping Beauty series, for those of us who need a little seducing. What better way than the novelist who is ever popular with the ladies, Anne Rice. In this story, Beauty is awakened from her hundred-year sleep by the Prince, not with a simple kiss, but with a deflowering, initiating her into a Satyricon-like world of sexual adventures. After stripping her naked he takes her to his kingdom, ruled by his mother, the Queen, where Beauty is trained as a slave and a plaything. The rest of the naked slaves, dozens of them, in the Queen's palace are princes and princesses sent by their royal parents from the surrounding kingdoms as tributes. In this palace they spend several years learning to become obedient and submissive sexual property, accepting being spanked, being publicly displayed, crawling around on their hands and knees, servicing their masters and mistresses, until they return to their own lands "being enhanced in wisdom". Please bring your own Copy, if you have one. We'll enjoy a few brief readings from the book, Rags will lead us as we foray a bit into the difference between fantasy and reality. Is there one? Could someone really go "there?"

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009, 7:00 - 8:00pm Sexpectations

That is, Expectations and Sex.  How do we communicate about play? You know, our kind of play. How can we begin expressing and then sharing boundaries, Why is it that the place between a yes answer and getting to the back room where the action is can become so complicated? We will talk about knowing how to get your needs met...and how to share that knowledge with the person you want to. This discussion is especially important for the girls in our community to really share what is on their minds to an audience that wants to know what you think. Last year, a similar discussion was so productive it continued well past the allotted time and was referred to by some participants as - foreplay. Additional material on boundaries and negotiation will be on my MySpace.com/ragsmadison blog.

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 7:00pm - 8:00pm Ultimate Fffff/Sex Club Primetime Success for the Single Member

You find the right club for you (one that allows you to come inside... stag) AND as a couple. You take the orientation and you buy the membership. This is NOT a Club Med or, Carnival Cruise Lines where a paid host/hostess uses all the social tricks of the trade to get the Party going. Tyler Durden, isn't here to buck you up. Texting your mom or girlfriends is not an option. The Center for Sex Positive Culture has been around a long time. Many of our members have been members for YEARS. So it DOES work. And, we want it to work for you too! Don't bring a book. Bring a pen or pencil and a notepad. The skills you learn here - from each other - are why you came... to us. Long timers don't don't necessarily mean old timers.
