Nekole Shapiro is the creator of TantricBirth.com, a movement designed to bring the teachings of Tantra to the birthing process.  "As a practitioner of Tantra through Siddha Yoga since the age of three, I know the power of its practices.  As with all I do in my life, I brought Tantra to my births.  The lessons I learned as a result have left me with a road map I hope to share with others so they can feel the power of birth for themselves."

Nekole has been an LMP for 20 years.  She has massaged celebrities, CEOs and top ranking athletes. In NYC, Nekole practiced the ancient Auryervedic healing art of Pancha Karma and began her lifelong practice of Ashtanga Yoga.  In addition to her healing arts background, Nekole has sung on opera stages, fostered an Internet start-up, and worked with billion dollar bank accounts on Wall Street.  She holds both a degree in Asian Studies and a certificate in pre-medical studies from Columbia University.

Nekole now brings her bodywork knowledge to the Birthing Arts as a Doula.

It is her desire to help you find your threads.  Welcome to the journey that is Tantra!

Patty Reed is a personal trainer at Harbor Square Athletic Club in  Edmonds, Washington.  She is certified by both the American Council on  Exercise (ACE), and the NSCA (National Sports Conditioning  Association).  She works with many age groups in her training practice, but prefers to focus on mature women who have a sincere desire to improve their health and well-being through balanced  exercise and reasonable nutritional techniques.

Her exercise philosophy is based on the principle of F.U.N.--  Focused, Useful, and Non-Intimidating. Everyone, no matter when they  start, can improve their fitness level if they have the right  motivation and the right program. Exercise should not be just for the  sake of exercise.  It should be a part of the whole person, an  integral part of the healthy individual.
